ABOUT YOURSELF :

Being a teacher has ensured that I am always  reliving my  childhood albeit in a way I had never imagined. It has  helped me  to be a lifelong learner – always learning new things and exploring and discovering  the hitherto unknown  aspects  of my personality. I enjoy travelling-exploring new places, reading and  baking.

ABOUT YOURSELF :

Since the inception of the IGCSE and the IBDP  at NISV, I have been associated with grooming the students for English Language and  English A :Literature.  Pet peeve s apart, making Literature come alive  3 dimensionally  is a key  thrust area .

Equally stimulating  is students taking cognizance  of the processes of Knowledge Acquisition in  Theory of Knowledge. The opportunity to touch the lives of my students , my inspiration, is most gratifying.  Guiding them for Model United Nations  Conferences is as refreshing as pottering around the garden  to the accompaniment of music!

ABOUT YOURSELF :

I  am a passionate reader of English literature and love to share  the nuances of the language and the subtleties of literature with the students.

I have an obedient  djinn at my beck and call : Books !  Besides my passion for reading, I am a globe trotter, always eager to imbibe new cultures and explore the unknown.

My pet peeve is the indifference of the children towards English Language and literature and it is my constant endeavour to bring out the poet/author nestled latent within them.

I also steer the children through the activities of Baroda Management Association and guide them to widen their horizons, and in the process, enrich myself too!
